The concept of the Weightwatchers Diet has been founded in the 60’s and is also noted to be one of the most popular kinds of diet across the globe. It has received great ratings from researches and was able to keep up with the constant change of the people’s way of life.

Simply put, the Weightwatchers Diet revolves into counting the amount of calories you take in along with a support system. At current time, this type of diet is the one that is being adhered to by a royalty from Britain Sarah Ferguson.

What most celebrities enjoy about this kind of diet is that it fits well into their everyday way of life. You don’t have to skip dining out. You can still actually enjoy eating your most liked foods.

In the Weightwatchers Diet Plan, the calories that one intakes should be burned up by the body by means of exercising or adhering to daily physical activities. With such practice one can expect to lose about 2 pounds in just a week’s time. There are weekly gatherings that one should attend wherein they will be presided by the Meeting Leaders and given more advice and pointers for their weight loss goals.

Such support and tools provide dieters of more motivation to work on their weight loss goals. There are numerous books that one can use to set as their guide. Furthermore, there are two plans involved in the Weightwatchers Diet: the Flex Points Plan and the Core Food Plans.

The Flex Points Plan is more on counting the calories you consume daily. You would have to journal down what foods you have taken during the day and how much calorie they possess. With the Core Foods Plan, dieters do not have to count the caloric contents of the food that they eat but rather limit their menu plan to the consumption of healthy foods alone.

Celebrities who have tried this diet are especially fond of how they were able to maintain nutrition consumption along with weight loss results. It was also claimed to eliminate hunger cravings that removes the bad habit of bingeing from the equation.

The downside for this type of diet is that you would have to spend about $12 per week as payment for the regular meetings and the online aid as well does not come for free. In this light, it can be expected that this type of diet may come as a very costly one.
