Ellen DeGeneres  is one of the most respected and important personalities in Hollywood. Although people does not focus that much on her physical structure since it was always concealed by her outfits, Ellen has an incredible body shape and she never seems to have issues with it. There was never an event that this lady looked bad or lost track in maintaining her weight. Would you believe that this woman does not work or worries that much about her body figure? Well perhaps she must have been blessed with good genes. Ellen admits she loves to exercise which credits to her good physique but she loves to eat as well. Ellen’s Food Plan

When it comes to dieting, Ellen is not that much choosy on which eating routine to follow. Her recent diet is consisting of pretty much anything. But we are glad to know that she has decided to stay on an health eating program called the Zone Diet. . This is one of the most popular diet used not only by Hollywood celebrity dieters but also by other dieters around the globe. Dietersl chose to follow this diet because aside from its weight loss effect, it also teaches dieters how to lead a healthy way of living. She has a variety of meal options and she gets to lose and maintain her desired weight without depriving herself. There are times where she indulges herself some of her favorite food but she eats them with moderation.

This particular diet aims to keep a hormonal balance by consuming particularly prepared foods.  The meal plan should contain a balance ratio of the following.

-carbs (40%)
-fats    (30%)
-protein (30%)

The Zone Diet is truly a helpful and healthy diet that everyone can follow. This is more than just a weight loss program for it teaches dieters how to keep up a fit and healthy body.


Ellen’s Exercise Routine

Along with her eating plan, the said talk show host incorporates them with healthy workouts. She loves to jog and she does some cardio workouts by spending time on the treadmill and the stairmaster. She also likes attending pilates and yoga classes which credits to her toned and fit body. She said that it is important to include fitness workouts on your daily lives which she doe since she does not have enough time to visit the gym due to her hectic schedules and her demanding career.
