How to Benefit Weight Loss with Regular Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This has been said and known for a long time. But for most celebrities who are always on the go they eventually leave out this important meal and even lives in a misconception that by skipping such meal would allow them to lose great amount of calories. On the other hand, there are researches that conclude people who have a regular breakfast routine are more likely to be lighter than those who don’t.

In the morning, the body wakes up to a starvation mode since it didn’t have any food for more than 8 hours. You would need food to jumpstart your metabolic rate and when we speak of food it’s not just those that are meant to make us full but rather those that contain nutritional value.

Coffee is not considered to be a full breakfast you would need more than just caffeine to get your body system functioning well. In particular, eating food for breakfast even in small portion would result in a normal level of blood glucose that can limit ones cravings and retain a good source for energy. Once you have had your breakfast you would have a better focus at work and calmer mind to last the whole day.

If you do not have the time to sit and have breakfast before going to work it is advisable to at least have low-fat convenient foods to carry along with you such as yogurt, fruits or muffins.

Here are some healthy breakfast treat that would certainly get your metabolism working:

Low fat bran muffins – these are very nutritious and can be prepared in low fat contents but still taste absolutely delicious. For added flavor and sweetness you may add in some raisins. This type of snack has high fiber contents and you can carry them around in your bag and eat it as you go. For sandwiches make sure to use those that are made from whole grains.

They have lower sugar contents as compared to the white bread. Choose from the following types of spread to match these whole grain breads:

Peanut Butter and Banana – maybe you are familiar with this type of breakfast as it is your usual lunch to bring to school. Any which way this type of breakfast is very healthy and not meant for kids alone to enjoy. Choose the peanut butter you would use. Check the labels to make sure that they are those that do not contain too much sugar or trans fats. It is preferable to choose those that contain almonds as they can suppress the appetite naturally.

Avocado and Tomato – toast up the bread and simple top it with slices of ripe avocadoes and tomatoes. Season it with salt and pepper according to preferred taste.
Tuna and Cheese Melt – for a healthy protein source this breakfast snack is a sure hit. Choose cheeses that have low fat contents if available.

Another type of convenient breakfast snacks are listed below:

Muesli with Fruit – for an energy boost, this breakfast snack would be a great source and it also contains a low amount of calories. Again, since almonds are natural appetite suppressing ingredients it would be best to find one that would include it in this snack. If you need to add milk it would be preferable to substitute it with low fat yogurt and add berry fruits since they have lower sugar levels too.
