Not all Trans Fats are the same. It actually comes of two types, one that naturally occurs among animal meat and the other refers to an artificial one. We would specifically dedicate this article on the discussion of the latter type of Trans Fat.
Processed Trans Fats are those that almost all people should avoid as the can cause one to gain weight, formation of cellulites and bad complexion. These things are the greatest concerns of most celebrities and have taken measures to avoid them.
Technically, Trans Fat is also known as Hydrogenated Fat since it is made from the formulation of Hydrogen with Vegetable Oil.

Many fast food restaurants opt for the usage of Trans Fat since it shortens the frying time making it convenient to cook foods fast. This type of fat is also used to lengthen the shelf life of some foods and add flavor as well.
Presently, foods using or incorporating Trans Fat are known to cause consumers to gain weight more as compared to the other varieties available. It affects the body to respond in the form of inflammation. This enhances the amount of cortisol and heightens the level of sugar in the blood.

Medical experts even blame the unsightly bulges around the belly area to the consumption of Trans Fat.
In general, unhealthy foods such as those that we call junk foods cause one to increase weight. However, if Trans Fat enters the equation you double the rate of the weight gain. In some parts of the globe, they have started a campaign against the use of Trans Fat among foods or regulate them to a minimum.

We have two kinds of cholesterol in the body, the good (HDL) and the bad (LDL). When you consume Trans Fat often, you alter the balance of the two cholesterols. This means the body has greater amounts of LDL compared to HDL. This is where cardiac ailments and diseases start to form. Fats may begin to block the arteries which can induce other system damage such as heat ailments, stroke, Type II diabetes and cancer. The list is actually a bit longer than what has been itemized here.
The best way to avoid Trans Fat in your daily consumption is to check the product labels. You may not see the word Trans Fat most of the time but it could be hiding behind other names such as hydrogenated oil or vegetable shortening.
