If you have been in such condition, you have to find out what are the things that make you feel stressed out and remove them from the equation. Eat in proper proportion. Nobody said that you have to count all the calories you put in your mouth but it would be very responsible if you can practice portion control. This means that being satisfied with just a few bites and move on. It is also helpful to perform your exercise regimen daily or on a regular basis in order to prevent fatty build-ups and burn the calories from the food you eat into energy.

Keeping track of the food that you eat is also important. This would allow you to have an overview of the foods that you usually eat and how it affects your weight.

Prepare your own meals. There are a lot of recipe books available in the market shelves that you can use as a source of healthy menus and dishes. And finally, always keep in mind that you should avoid eating foods which you would not be able to burn off. In this light, it is recommendable to save thirty minutes of your time in a day for exercise. Even as simple as taking a walk can provide the body with the much needed calorie burning. Inspire yourself during your walk by playing on some music via iPod or MP3 player.

Invite friends or family members to do the same activity with you in order to keep your motivated, inspired and even strengthen the bond you have with them. You can also play some sports that you really like such as badminton, swimming and the likes.
