People who are considered as celebrities always need to be at their best appearance even if they live in the fast lane of life. Even without much sleep or eat they should always present themselves in public looking their best and at their freshest.
Weight is also an issue. Since the media has already defined that being slim constitutes to being beautiful, it provides an extra pressure on celebrities to be at their best figure especially if they have to walk down the aisle of a red carpet and photo shoots.
