There are numerous diets available today. There are those found in your regular market shelves and also online. But most celebrities have preferred to have a calorie restriction diet over anything else.

Actually this type of diet may be the best thing you can do for yourself as it can benefit your system in the long run. According to experts you may even extend your lifespan by adhering to this kind of diet. The basic formula for this diet merely states that the lesser calories you take, the less weight would put on. According to research, a pound of fat is said to equal a total of 3,500 calories hence adjusting you caloric intake to a minimum would result in an inevitable reduction of weight. This is a highly recommendable diet as far as safety and long-term manageability is concerned.

Aside from minimizing your caloric intake it would be an excellent practice to have an exercise regimen which can help burn an approximate of 500 calories daily. It is also a fact that developing muscles is also a great advantage of burning calories as it makes active use for it compared to fats.

Another benefit of calorie restriction diet is that it can result positively in enhancing one’s health. Research shows that it can slow down the process of aging, maintain a normal blood pressure and more. Excessive eating is not at all beneficial for the body.

It pushes the various systems in the body to perform its task double time. The longer you adhere to a negative eating habit the more obvious it becomes as it can pile up into unsightly bulges.

What constitutes this diet?

Although the diet is known as Calorie Restriction diet it does not mean that one is restricted to a variety of foods. It’s simply means that you need to be conscious of how many calories you are taking in daily.

This diet means eating fruits, vegetables and low-calorie protein foods. When we speak of low calorie foods that contain protein it would include beans, chicken or turkey, tuna, steamed or baked fish, egg whites and low fat yogurt or milk.

Such diet would also mean you have to gain great control over your caloric intake and that the body acquires the proper nutrients and hydration it needs.

Adjusting to a new diet, whichever it may be is difficult at first, but seeing how your favorite celebrities have done it may inspire you to do the same. Just imagine how they can easily tell how much calories a certain type of dish has. This may take awhile but you’d surely get there as well and be able to turn down foods that have high calories.

As much as we would like to think that everything would work out well for the Calorie Restriction Diet there are certain disadvantages as well that celebrities would have to put up with. You would always be measuring the amount of calories your food has and prior to this diet you should learn how much calories does various food types contains. Another thing is that you have to be picky of restaurant foods or restaurants in general. They are likely to use butter, creams and oils that may ruin your diet plan altogether.
