It’s a real challenge for celebrities to stay fit and slim since they work on a very tight schedule in between filming, photo shoots and TV appearances. It is impossible for people in their career line to have a permanent type of diet. More often than not, their area of work and socialization would expose them to vices and unhealthy choices of foods. In this light, it is important that they practice a detox diet to help them flush out those toxins from the body and revive their system in order to carry out its various functions.
Detox diet is a very sensible and easy type of diet. One would be able to feed their body with foods that are rich in the essential vitamins and minerals that would supply much needed energy.
First, one has to exclude meat and processed foods from their diet. These food types strain the digestive system as they are not easily digested which in turn gets accumulated and visible through unsightly bulges. Moreover, processed foods contain chemicals that the body does not recognize for digestion.

There are also other foods that should not be consumed for this type of diet it includes dairy products, breads, pasta, chocolates (oh too bad!), nuts, canned fruits, coffee and alcoholic beverages.
The only acceptable foods you can enjoy with this diet are fruits or have them pureed. For the latter process, you would need to boil a small amount of water in a pot then place the cupped fruits in it. Cover and set it over low heat until they have softened.
There are some forms of tea that are allowed for this diet and those are the herbal ones and Green tea. Smoking should also be avoided in the detox diet plan

Process the fruits in a blender then squeeze some fresh lemon for taste. You may even add some cinnamon if preferred. Have them during breakfast and its own sugar would suffice to provide you with the much needed morning booster.
You can use a variety of fruits for this diet including apples, plums, pears, berries and the likes. Prepare the fruits individually or make a combination. It’s still perfect. But make sure that the fruits you are going to use are organic since they are healthier and contain lesser amounts of pollutants and chemicals.

For the other two regular meals of the day it would be best to have vegetable soup. It has high amounts of nutrition yet caloric count is low. To make one, put the veggies in a pot along with vegetable stock then cook over low heat until the veggies have softened. Place it in a blender along with some spices such as uncooked garlic or for a hotter kick, jalapeno pepper.
You may use a combination of spinach and broccoli or individually with collard greens, zucchini, onion, carrots and sweet potatoes.
If you would feel hungry in between meals try to prepare smoothies made from fruits. Not only are they refreshing but they are filled with a lot of nutrients as well and less calories.
We have already mentioned the benefits of this diet, but likewise it also has its downsides. It may leave you feeling hungry at times but don’t give in to the craving and better try sticking to it for a few weeks first. Perseverance to stay healthy and fit is the secret along with determination and discipline.
