Who wouldn’t be amazed and envied at how Beyonce’s body has turned out to be? Just from watching her very popular video from the hit song “Single Ladies”, which made quite a sales by the way, you may conclude that she has put a great deal of effort to stay in shape. But Beyonce has also been popular to her adherence to a curvy shape and does not follow the current trend of Hollywood when it comes to staying slim which is often composed of crash diets and eating disorders.

I for one think that Beyonce is one of the perfectly shaped celebrities you can find in Hollywood. For some, being skinny may be the trend but nothing beats a curvy and soft shape like Beyonce’s. Frankly speaking, it’s a body most men drool over for.

If we would calculate Beyonce’s Body Mass Index (BMI) it would turn out a healthy score. In an estimate of 5 foot 6 inches for her height and her body weight which is probably in the rouonds of 99 pounds, it’s a 23.1 score which is considered to be healthy.

The thinnest body photograph you may found in the web of Beyonce was the one when she played one of the lead roles in the movie “Dream Girls”. She took a very popular diet known as the Maple Syrup Diet which allowed her to lose about 20 pounds off her weight in just a matter of 2 weeks. But the truth is, even if the Hollywood trend is set on skinny bodies, Beyonce prefers her own body to be in a much healthier shape. This is probably the reason why she tried to regain her original weight which in her own right is very stunningly sexy.

Here are some healthy foods that you can actually enjoy while watching the latest movie flick without fear of having a caloric overload.

Traditionally, popcorns are the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to movies. It is the most popular treat available among movie houses that comes in several flavors too. But did you know that a large tub of popcorn corresponds to almost 1200 calories.

This is entirely equal to the amount of allowed calories per day for a diet management plan. Another thing is that popcorns contain high amount of sodium which can cause a bloating sensation and make you feel thirsty. This is where you would actually crave for a large serving of carbonated drinks or soda.

Actually, you can make this traditional movie snack healthy by popping them up on your home and simply bring it along. Make sure to cook them in vegetable oil and mix in a few sprinkle of salt or even sweet syrup for flavor.

Chocolates are considerably lower in calories as compared to popcorns. But such still depends on how big or small would the chocolate pieces would be. Why not substitute nut bars for chocolates. These are favorably more nutritious. If you really crave for chocolates pick one that shares cocoa up to 70%. Cocoas have lower caloric contents and they contain a great amount of antioxidants.

For beverages, it might be typical for one to order a huge serving already for convenience. But unfortunately, a serving contains 500 calories or even more. They also lack nutrients and simply fill you up with empty calories. For a healthier treat, there are beverages that are especially made for the weight conscious crowd. It’s true that they contain a great number of sweeteners but they have not been found to cause any adverse effects on health. It would also be more ideal to simply prepare a fruit juice at home and bring it along in the movies.

How to Benefit Weight Loss with Regular Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This has been said and known for a long time. But for most celebrities who are always on the go they eventually leave out this important meal and even lives in a misconception that by skipping such meal would allow them to lose great amount of calories. On the other hand, there are researches that conclude people who have a regular breakfast routine are more likely to be lighter than those who don’t.

In the morning, the body wakes up to a starvation mode since it didn’t have any food for more than 8 hours. You would need food to jumpstart your metabolic rate and when we speak of food it’s not just those that are meant to make us full but rather those that contain nutritional value.

Coffee is not considered to be a full breakfast you would need more than just caffeine to get your body system functioning well. In particular, eating food for breakfast even in small portion would result in a normal level of blood glucose that can limit ones cravings and retain a good source for energy. Once you have had your breakfast you would have a better focus at work and calmer mind to last the whole day.

If you do not have the time to sit and have breakfast before going to work it is advisable to at least have low-fat convenient foods to carry along with you such as yogurt, fruits or muffins.

Here are some healthy breakfast treat that would certainly get your metabolism working:

Low fat bran muffins – these are very nutritious and can be prepared in low fat contents but still taste absolutely delicious. For added flavor and sweetness you may add in some raisins. This type of snack has high fiber contents and you can carry them around in your bag and eat it as you go. For sandwiches make sure to use those that are made from whole grains.

They have lower sugar contents as compared to the white bread. Choose from the following types of spread to match these whole grain breads:

Peanut Butter and Banana – maybe you are familiar with this type of breakfast as it is your usual lunch to bring to school. Any which way this type of breakfast is very healthy and not meant for kids alone to enjoy. Choose the peanut butter you would use. Check the labels to make sure that they are those that do not contain too much sugar or trans fats. It is preferable to choose those that contain almonds as they can suppress the appetite naturally.

Avocado and Tomato – toast up the bread and simple top it with slices of ripe avocadoes and tomatoes. Season it with salt and pepper according to preferred taste.
Tuna and Cheese Melt – for a healthy protein source this breakfast snack is a sure hit. Choose cheeses that have low fat contents if available.

Another type of convenient breakfast snacks are listed below:

Muesli with Fruit – for an energy boost, this breakfast snack would be a great source and it also contains a low amount of calories. Again, since almonds are natural appetite suppressing ingredients it would be best to find one that would include it in this snack. If you need to add milk it would be preferable to substitute it with low fat yogurt and add berry fruits since they have lower sugar levels too.
