Admittedly, we live in a very modern age wherein we seem to be tied up with too much things to do either for personal reasons, family or for career. With this list, one may find that adhering to a great weight loss plan is difficult. But with some imagination you can actually incorporate a weight management plan that could work for you.

Make no more excuses. Here are ten ways to make weight management an easy and effective task for you:

  • For one week prepare three kinds of exercise that you would perform continuously for about 10 minutes every morning. For example, during Mondays do some push-ups, abs crunches and sit-ups. All three activities would be done for the duration of 10 minutes. Use your creativity and come up with simple exercises for variety. 
  • Walking – You can have a scheduled time for this activity as mush as you schedule time for brushing your teeth. Take some time off during the middle of the day and walk around the neighborhood or around the office block. You can even intensify this activity  by setting a challenge that you can walk fro point A distance to point B distance for a shorter time that you usually do.
  • Maximize your stairs at home. Make sure to adhere using it for a couple of times in a day or specific record that you would have to complete by the end of the day.
  • Sitting can also be a fat burning activity if you know how. Even as simple as contracting your muscle for a few seconds is a great abs trimmer. Hold your stomach in while in an isometric sitting position. Hold it for about a minute and breathing as naturally as you can. Adhering to this habit would ensure you of a firm abs in just a matter of one month.
  • Having a pedometer is handy if you want to be motivated. It can show you the number of walks you had for the day and use it as a record that you need to challenge yourself with. If you were able to walk for one mile as indicated in the pedometer then try to exceed such record and make it possible to walk for 2 miles for the succeeding week.
  • Avoid watching TV for hours. On the other hand, if you can, do some 5-minute routines such as abdominal crunches or sit-ups during commercial breaks. You would be surprised to find out that you may have worked out for a 60 minutes routine through the duration of your favorite TV show.
  • Have one exercise a day that you would need to perform for about 10 minutes. Having a variety of movements for each day is recommended.
  • Take time to walk the extra mile if you could. In example, you can park your car a bit farther from the office building so you can have time to walk. For sure you would feel more energized if you had that extra walk before you enter your office doors.
  • For a great leg and butt workout, use the stairs and perform a double step. In this light, you may want to skip using the elevator and be motivated that by using the stairs you would be a few weeks away from a firmer body.
  • Finally, do these activities with someone. They can either be a friend or a family member. This would motivate you a lot and make the activities enjoyable when you do them. You would also have a lot of ideas as well for the variety of exercise you need and the bonding moments is truly worthwhile.
